Cindy Hoy,  Director of Training and Compliance

Ms. Hoy began her career with BI, Inc in 1999 as a probation officer in south Georgia.  In 2002, she was promoted to supervise BI, Inc/Maximus probation operations over four counties. Promoted again in 2005- when the former company was purchased by Providence Community Corrections, she became the Director of Operations for District 3, with responsibility for direct supervision of all field operations in South Georgia and Florida.  She also served as the primary on-the-job and continuing education trainer  and developer for all staff in the area.  Prior to employment with PCC, Ms. Hoy spent six years as an Outpatient Substance Abuse Counselor for the Mental Health Center in Decatur County, Georgia. During that time she facilitated substance abuse groups for parolees.  Her business career includes eight years experience at a financial institution where she supervised the Collections Department.

Ms. Hoy earned a BA in Social Work from Albany State University, Albany, Georgia in 1997.  She received the United States Achievement Award in Social Sciences, 1995 and 1996, and served on the Judicial Citizens Review Panel Committee in 2003-2004. She is certified as a REAL COLORS facilitator. She is currently enrolled in the  APPA Leadership Institute – A twelve month Journey of Self Discovery and Organizational Change for Community Corrections Professionals.  She is due to graduate in August of this year.
